Hong Kong is very much a shopping mecca – it is fascinating and so much fun! The products are always so beautifully displayed, making even the most mundane item attractive (I found myself wanting to buy kitchen wares to bring home)! Check out some of these cool products and shops below…
Chinese Arts & Crafts
This place in Kowloon sells some of the most beautiful works of art and souvenirs. Definitely, worth visiting.
A detail shot of the carving – just incredible!
Artful Display
Loved the red lacquered display cases, Chinese Arts & Crafts
Display of hand painted snuff bottles
Front window of a store for kitchen & home products
Loved the minimal and industrial shoe display fixtures, Lane Crawford
Canton Road
This road with all the luxury stores is like the Rodeo Drive of Hong Kong.
Louis Vuitton, Canton Road
It was so interesting to see people lining up to go inside these European luxury boutiques. Same thing at the Chanel boutique on the same street.
Mall with a View
Harbor City Mall in Kowloon has great views of the harbor. They did such a wonderful job taking advantage of this asset in the design of the mall.
The large picture window at the Bobby Brown counter has stunning views. Getting glimpses of the harbor in an unexpected area was a visual treat.
Cool & Kitschy Products
There are so many boutiques with fun design products. A couple of my favorite stores were K11 Design Store and xPlus.
Stools, K11 Design Store
iPhone cases, K11 Design Store
Dolls, xPlus
