Born in the foothills of the Himalayas in Northeast India, Seyie was introduced to the fine arts and architecture at an early age. After college, she entered the world of high style in the heart of the New York and Paris international fashion scenes. As an executive with Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel, she worked side-by-side with some of the world’s finest fashion designers and honed her skills for excellence and refinement. It was during this time that Seyie developed her meticulous eye for detail, a sophisticated sense of taste and a deep understanding of branding, which she infuses into the environments she creates.
With Seyie Design, Seyie merges the fashion and interior design worlds. She works with residential and beauty, fashion and lifestyle clients in California and India. Recent projects have included designing a convention hall in India to host the annual conference of the World Bamboo Organization, and lifestyle lounges for celebrity gifting including the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards® Official Talent Gift Lounge. She frequently speaks about Interior Branding, and her exclusive presentation, Designing the Luxury Brand – Secrets to Creating Successful Branding Through Design in Medical Practices and Spas, was featured at THE Aesthetic Show in Las Vegas. Seyie graduated from UCLA Extension’s Professional Interior Design program. She polished her design skills working with esteemed firms including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Hirsch Bedner Associates, designing some of the most luxurious homes in Los Angeles and top hotels worldwide.
Seyie is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers and a member of the Costume Council at LACMA. She supports various non-profit organizations including Step Up Women’s Network and In True Fashion. She frequently travels to Europe and Asia, keeping current on the latest in local and international design trends and theory.
