FLEA MARKET FINDS

Flea market shopping is a lot of fun.  But it is a hit or miss, so can be frustrating as well.  When I go on such shopping expedition, I wear comfortable shoes and go with the mindset of spending at least a few hours to find things that I really like.

This past Sunday I visited the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena, which happens to be one of the largest in LA area.  In the sweltering heat, I made my way around the myriad of booths with an umbrella in hand and plenty of cold water to hydrate.

Fashionable Sound

I fell in love with this speaker by Jawbone the moment I saw it!  Its rectilinear design and lipstick-red color are stunning.  This piece streams music wirelessly.   I am all for any functional object that is fashionably designed…

A definite chic accessory for any outdoor entertaining & living!

Live Art at the California Gift Show!

The Live Art Installation at the California Gift Show was quite fascinating.  It featured four celebrated Los Angeles muralists and mixed-media artists, MEAR ONE, John Park, Hans Haveron, & ABCNT.  The mural program is called Vox Humana, curated by Bryson Strauss, a project of the L.A. ART MACHINE.

Watching the artists at work was mesmerizing!
